Notes for Daniel McLaughlin

Daniel McLaughlin immigrated to the U.S. in about 1852
settling first in Norristown, PA., where he worked in an Iron
Foundery under his boyhood friend, Dan Dougherty. He left for
Fond du Lac,. Wisc., where he farmed and later owned a grocery
store in the city. He later settled in Dougherty, IA.

McLaughlin, Daniel 54 years old; died 7 Nov. 1886;
born in Co. Donegal, Ireland

According to the will of John Mclaughlin, he was a resident
of the State of Iowa at John's death.
